Over 50 years ago, a novel lab was formed in a small hospital with the goal of accelerating diagnostic testing.     Our Diagnostics Laboratories Include:

    Central Laboratories:     Based in nine locations across the globe, our Central Labs generate more clinical trial data than all other central laboratories combined and cover testing activities in immunology, special chemistry, safety testing, genomics, histology, targeted cell isolation, flow cytometry and microbiology.
    Core and Stat Laboratories: We support hundreds of routine tests as well as specialty diagnostic testing for several conditions such as cancer and chronic kidney disease.
    Esoterix Laboratories: Our highly specialized endocrinology and coagulation labs use new innovation techniques that include paternity and family DNA, specialty coagulation, surgical pathology, kidney stone kits, pediatric rare disease and genetics, specialty endocrine, virology specialty testing, plasma screening, specialty toxicology, women’s health and genetics.
    ​​​​​Hospital Laboratories: In partnerships with hospital groups like Ascension and University of Miami, Labcorp performs complex tests and procedures that help healthcare professionals detect, diagnose and treat diseases. This can include working with bacteria and other microorganisms, analysis of body fluids and chemical and hormonal contents.

    Our Early Drug Development Laboratories Include:

    With over 20 lab locations in 8 countries, Labcorp helps customers validate the safety of vaccines and medicines as well as chemical or medical devices at their earliest stage of development. Testing spans discovery, toxicology, metabolism, pharmacology, bioanalysis, environmental testing, microbiology/sterility and biocompatibility to serve the pharmaceutical, crop protection, chemical and medical device industries.
